Irene is the tax manager of the team who brings over 15 years of dedicated estate taxation experience both from her many years with BNR Partners, and previously within the tax division of a listed trustee company.  Prior to this Irene worked in general public practice, which provided her with a great foundation on which to develop and build her specialisation and expertise.

Irene has contributed to several technical articles published for industry journals and has also co-authored a number of papers on the many nuances of estate taxation in Australia.  She has both presented at seminars and sat on technical panels around the country, and whilst a quiet achiever, Irene is unquestionably one of the leading estate taxation minds in Australia.

Her technical expertise, along with her strong inclusive and educational management style, has greatly assisted in building the reputation and skills of the BNR team.

Irene is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Adviser, and a full member of STEP.

Her Interests include regular travel and enjoying the culinary delights of the world.
